Our client is a successful chilled food manufacturer. This is a company that is growing year on year and has an award winning product portfolio. This profitable business is continuing to grow and supplies to major UK retailers.

This role will be reporting to the process development manager. Although no direct reports, you will be expected to help and support those in the team when necessary. The challenges that you will face as the successful applicant will be to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, even when time constraints apply.Within this role you will be using retailer specification systems and prior knowledge of this will be instrumental in this role. You will also be assisting in updating and approving artwork, updating packaging in accordance with company, customer and legal standards and collecting, interpreting and sending samples for shelf life and nutritional information.

As the successful candidate you will be educated to the equivalent of degree level. You will have experience within a fast paced fmcg business. This role requires the successful candidate to be self-motivated and proactive.  Although this is an interim role your efforts could create a platform to progress into another role within this progressive group in the future.Experience within a technical department would be at least one year. Knowledge of HACCP, quality systems and process parameters is desirable in successful candidates.A candidate who is forward thinking, proactive and capable of using their own initiative as well as have exceptional attention to detail is sought.
