Interim Technical Assistant

Job Description

This Interim Technical Assistant role will give you 12 months experience within a highly successful, blue chip business. You will be working with all the major retailers, supplying both branded and own label products.

Our client is a large successful FMCG / food manufacturer. As the successful candidate you will get to see both sides of this branded and own label business, supplying all major retailers and foodservice companies. Being part of this company will allow you to gain great experience in a hands-on capacity.

In this interim role you will be reporting to the Technical Manager and will be responsible for supporting them in their role. This role will improve your knowledge of the food and drink industry and will allow you to work with well known, successful products.In a typical day you will be working along side your manager and ensuring that product traceability, HACCP, BRC and retailer standards are maintained and improved where necessary. You will also be required to support the Technical Manager in customer complaints analysis and management, monitoring the quality system and reporting any non-conformances as well as internal auditing.Previous experience of working within a food and drink manufacturer will be critical for the applicant to be successful. Previous team communication and independent working will set you at an advantage in this role.
