Interim Commercial Manager - Export

A market leader in the food industry, with multiple sites in the UK, our client have enjoyed uplift in sales augmenting their growth and increased profile within the major UK retailers.  With products across a number of categories in the UK retail sector, they are now looking to expand on an international basis.

This will be a field based role with 2/3 days a week on site and the rest working from home and of course, travelling around the client base.

Whilst the business formalise their structure, they have an urgent need for an interim commercial manager who has experience of developing an international client base.  You will establish this channel conducting the necessary research then applying your knowledge of the market and competitor intelligence.You will have leadership skills having managed commercial teams in your career.  Your presence and charisma along with sophisticated management techniques will be required to spear head this team.Financial acumen and agility with numbers is essential for accurate forecasting and reporting of the export business unit.Taking responsibility across specific categories in designated regions will require an individual who has the correct level of project management skills who has proven their ability to enjoy autonomy and deliver results accordingly.A strategic approach is required to develop relationships into long-term partnerships, so a professional sales expert is needed to create the foundation for this and leave a legacy for the business.

This is an immediate requirement, requiring someone with significant experience in the international arena.  Your availability is the key as the successful candidate will have a start date in April 2011.
