Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Engineering Manager to join a fast paced manufacturing environment that is enjoying real growth.  As a result of their success they have expanded their facilities and there is a need to drive efficiencies. 

You will have the engineering expertise to focus on improving the current process flow to make the site more efficient and effective.  An understanding and previous experience of driving improvements and reviewing current engineering strategies and introducing best practice will have been a regular theme in your previous interim roles.

You will have strong analytical skills and be able to compose and implement business proposals.  The people piece is equally as important so examples of leadership and coaching are critical in this instance.  You will have managed teams and have coached and mentored individuals as part of succession plans in previous organisations.

This interim role needs a strong individual who relishes a challenge and enjoys change management and taking people with them on the journey.

You will need :Exposure to a food manufacturing environment where efficiency and reliability are key.Professional Engineer (Degree, HND, or previous experience operating as a Professional Engineering Manager in a Food manufacturing environment)Good aptitude for engineering. Ideally with both mechanical and electrical skillsA leader with management experience of Multi-skilled Engineers.Experience of managing engineering budget a desirable, no essential.
