Job Description

Our client is a prepared foods business supplying the UK retailers with hand crafted, premium chilled food products.  The business is at the forefront of product innovation within the category in which it operates and is highly regarded by its retail customers.  This business unit is experiencing significant investment and is looking forward to a period of growth.

The Sales Executive role, reporting in to the Business Manager, will include the completion of individual projects that fit within the category sales goals and overall business objectives.  Other activities will include:

• Accurate reporting of sales data and advising on the correct action along with analysis on performance.
• Working closely with the NPD team.
• Monitoring and managing post launch and promotion activities and being actively involved in the activities associated in supply chain and logistics.
• Being fully aware of market performance and competitor activities to assist the business in making the correct commercial decisions.
• Understanding the category, identifying potential gaps and advising on corrective action.·    Ensuring accurate forecasting working with planning.

Commercial experience in the food or FMCG sector working with the UK's major retailers.
