Interim Site Financial Accountant

Summary

Opportunity to work within a category leading, fast moving chilled major food manufacturer.

This is an interim role for 8 months, reporting to the financial controller.

You will control the day-to-day financial operations of the site. Key responsibilities will include financial reporting to senior management, improving financial accounting processes and controls.

Job Description

Experience in similar senior level financial role and producing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for a manufacturing operation will be essential. ACCA or CIMA qualified you will need to demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills.

Ideally you will have worked in the very fast moving chilled food industry but FMCG manufacturing will definitely be considered.

You will be a motivated self-starter with initiative to challenge and improve current systems. You will have a great understanding of the role finance plays in the manufacturing sector and the ability to gain engagement and involvement from all functions within the site will be key to this role.
