    Job Description

    New Product Development Project Manager opportunity to drive profitable growth in a very fashionably branded product category

    You will be responsible for helping to grow overall profitability within a broad range of brands through the effective delivery of strategic NPD

    Reporting into Senior Marketer, you will organise and prioritise multiple projects.

    Key responsibilities include:

    ·           Project managing a cross functional team to successfully deliver strategic NPD

    ·            Manage multiple projects across several distinct brand areas.

    ·            Working to deliver products in line with brand strategy and positioning

    ·            Managing a gate stage process to deliver to a predetermined timeline.

    ·            Managing the design and artwork for new products

    ·           Setting and managing spend within Budget and to pitch for spend allocation when required.

    ·            Liaising with supply, Commercial, Technical, Marketing, Purchasing and Sites to ensure          projects are effectively supported.

    ·            Working with the category and commercial teams to gain NPD listings.

    ·            Guiding your project teams through the gate stage process ensuring that all essential criteria is met, becoming a champion for the gate process.

    Key recruitment requirements:

    ·            Demonstrable experience of developing NPD projects across branded or own label categories for the retail sectors

    ·            Experience of working with and managing external agencies and working with external suppliers and contract packers

    ·           High level of numeracy and ability to understand and manipulate figures

    ·            Experience of managing cross-functional projects

    ·           Able to manage budgets effectively, achieving specific revenue and profit targets for NPD.

    ·            Experience of managing external agencies

    ·            Positive, enthusiastic and energetic attitude

    ·           Calm under pressure

    ·           Can do attitude.

    ·            Excellent communication skills and experience of building relationships based on honest communication.

    ·            Personal commitment to each project you are working on.

    ·            Experience of managing multiple projects at speed
