This is a 3 month interim contract for an Interim Assistant Development Technologist based in the North West. It is a great opportunity to gain experience with one of the UK’s most successful food businesses.

Job Description

Our Client is a market leading multi – site company that supplies both foodservice and the major retailers. The focus within this company is on product quality and customer needs, therefore the ideal candidate will be focused and driven to achieve high quality results.

You will have energy and enthusiasm, with a keen eye for detail. A minimum of 12 months experience within the food industry will be required to ensure you understand what is expected. This position will give the ideal candidate a good grounding with a highly successful business. With a strong team ethic and positive working environment, you will be made to feel part of this team from day one.

As the successful candidate you will be reporting to the Senior Development Technologist. You will work closely with the development team and aid new product innovations, to ensure the safety and the quality of the products produced. Running trials, conducting research and maintaining up to date documentation is vital to this role. You will also be preparing product samples for internal and external customer requests. The ideal successful candidate will be capable of organising and prioritising their workload and working to tight time scales. You will be creative, innovative and previously managed a number of projects simultaneously.
