Interim Site Accountant - Food manufacturing

This is an exciting time for an ambitious Interim Site Accountant to a join a fast paced food manufacturer based in the East of England, for a twelve month maternity cover position.

Job Description

Our client is a leading food manufacturer based in the East of England, supplying high quality products to major UK retailers. This business is continuing to grow and is now looking for a high calibre individual to cover a twelve month maternity period. This client certainly rewards hard work and would look to retain candidates elsewhere within the business should they prove themselves.

This role is site based and primary responsibility is to ensure the provision of finance and management accounting support for all the site operations. To ensure finance and legal compliance for the business and the management of the site finance and administrative teams.

As the Interim Site Accountant you will have previous management and financial accounting experience within a fast paced food manufacturing environment. This role requires a good communicator and an experienced man manger to ensure team and business objectives are achieved.

In order to be succesful you will:

• Be CIMA qualified accountant with evidence of relevant post qualification experience. Ideally with some team management.
• Have food manufacturing or FMCG experience.
• Advanced Excel experience.
