Interim New Product Development jobs
Interim New Product Development, interim NPD Mgr or interim innovation management some of the titles we see in our interim assignments. This is one area that absolutely requires previous food innovation and NPD experience. Frequently, assignments can be very product specific so we will need to find interim skill for bakery or have an assignment requiring previous chilled sauce or desserts experience as examples. Some assignments are for a handful of days prior to a launch or when there is a specific troublesome product innovation issue that needs addressing. We also have Food NPD Interims who will return to a business at regular times of the year to support critical product launch periods. Rates vary from £200 - £1000 a day depending on level but there is always pressure for pro-rate contracts.

The Head of Development came to us with an urgent Interim NPD Manager Job, someone to work with a specific retailer, marks and Spencer, in chilled bakery. Due to a surprise resignation and a long term sickness issue specific experience and skills were needed to meet upcoming launch dates. Within 8 working days an interim matching the criteria with solid relationships with that particular retailer was in place and adding value. This ensured a positive relationship continued with the customer and the launches ran smoothly. The interim NPD Manager has returned to assist on a different project that needed specific niche skills on a short-term basis.
