Very few individuals are skilled in the requirements of the retail clients and the associated programmes and software. A client needed to fill an interim packaging technologist job role to work on a new account. Their customer had some specific requirements so they needed additional resource and niche skills and an injection of innovation. This was delivered on time by placing a candidate who had worked in that sector previously and also had a relationship with the retailer. The project was delivered successfully and in that instance the candidates contract was extended to work on future projects.

Our client was the Head of the Purchasing and the packaging budget was going into overspend with six months to go on the year. Focus Interim placed an interim packaging buyer who brought knowledge and contacts to the table. Costs were reduced significantly and new suppliers sourced and some excellent work was delivered by conducting a small planning project to improve delivery times.
