We are looking for a confident Development individual to join an innovative NPD team. You will need to be a passionate food enthusiast with a background in bakery. Your skill set will be in blue sky concept development and we are looking for someone who is has the confidence and professionalism to communicate with a major retailer. This is a six month assignment for an experienced development specialist who can hit the floor running who likes autonomy and to have their own account/area to manage.

This chilled food manufacturer is undergoing a considerable amount of change and requires an extra pair of hands to support the QA team in the bedding in of new products. You will need to be able to hit the ground running as the site converts from low to high care and production almost doubles. Good people management skills are the key to this role, soif you cannot demonstrate a track record of driving change through people empowerment, this role isn't for you.

Interim Specifications Writer

<p>Working for a large chilled food manufacturer the Specifications Technologist will be responsible for completing specifications for own label products. As a competent specifications systems user of major retailer systems (such as Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury), you will have experience of liaising with retailers to ensure product specifications are accurate and timely. Ideally you will be a food graduate or equivalent with experience of chilled food manufacturing.

Interim Technical Manager

Our client is a profitable large chilled food manufacturer and they require a senior Technical Manager to work with the technical teams across multi-sites. In this position you will need to have strong interpersonal skills to influence colleagues, manage, coach and develop direct reports to achieve the day to day running of the business and have the foresight to plan months in advance. You will ensure that the products that are manufactured are safe and meet relevant legal and customer requirements. The role also includes responsibility for the quality assurance systems, ensuring product standards traceability and GMP. Working with retailers and external suppliers you will ensure the target of all Quality KPIs for the sites. You must be able to deliver Continuous Improvement and strong project management skills. Educated to degree level or equivalent, previous experience of chilled foods is preferred.
